Matthew Kirschenbaum is giving the 2016 A. S. W. Rosenbach Lectures at the University of Pennsylvania in March. Begun in 1931, the Rosenbach Lectures are the longest continuing series of bibliographical lectureships in the United States, with a distinguished list of past presenters.

The title of Kirschenbaum's lecture series (to be delivered in three parts) is Bitstreams: The Future of Digital Literary Heritage. This spring he will also give the annual Fales Lecture at NYU, as well as talks at the University of Rochester, Columbia, and Northwestern. His book, Track Changes: A Literary History of Word Processing, appears in April from Harvard/Belknap Press.
